Over the past 2 years, we have been able to influence, motivate, encourage and empower over 3,500 young people in their personal identity through their daily student assembly.
Class by Class – Life Coaching & Mentoring
We also go from class-to-class, mentoring the students in smaller groups and also one-on-one coaching, for extreme personal challenges.
Groutville Secondary is over-capacity, with up to 120 students in a classroom, often with no fans or air-conditioning, in an extremely hot climate.

God has reconciled us to Himself and given to us the ministry of reconciliation.
For it is Christ’s Love that fuels our passion and motivates us.
Coaching, Empowering and Mentoring the principals and educators.
We have come alongside the Principal and his school management team for the past 2 years and are helping the
school with class by class and individual mentoring and coaching of the students.
Praying for the principal of Groutville Secondary.
The educators often experience severe personal challenges themselves, through difficult upbringing, and home situations.
They are very caring and patient with the students, who come from difficult home situations, and may have concentration or learning disabilities, but often are also triggered by their own personal past and difficulties.
We coach and mentor these educators one-on-one when they are facing extreme personal or educational challenges themselves.
🧑🏾🎓✝️🔥 The educators also often meet with us to deal with some of their own trauma from the upbringing and past🧑🏾🎓✝️🔥
They also often find it very difficult to teach the students, because many of the students are hungry and therefore not able to concentrate.
So we are also doing group and one-on-one mentoring and coaching of the educators.

Feedback from Groutville Secondary
Over the past 2 years, in our time with Groutville Secondary, we have been able to build a wonderful relationship with the headmaster, his 2 deputy-heads and the 90 educators involved in the school.
During this period, we have spent much time praying for the headmaster in his office. He has opened his heart fully to us and shared with us the huge challenges that they face in the school, including:
– dysfunctional / child-headed families, with very little home-support for the students
– many of the students arriving at school hungry, because of no food at home
– inadequate government funding for the school
We have seen him surrender his whole life and leadership of the school to God, and make a commitment to be led only by the Holy Spirit and not to compromise on any issue.
The school now has a daily student assembly in the morning for all 3,500 students, starting with worship, sharing of scripture and prayer.
The educators also start every day with worship and prayer.

Vision – Groutville Secondary School
Groutville Secondary has also started a school gardening project, where students are
taught to grow and harvest vegetables and also learn to grow vegetables for their own needs at home.
The headmaster and educators have been very grateful to us for our support in mentoring the educators and students and for the positive impact it has had on the school 😊.
Immediate Needs
The Principal and School management team have a vision for:
– Increased support for feeding of the most desperate students.
– Basic Boarding facilities at the school.
Many of the children are from child-headed families and live in very poor conditions,
where they find it very hard to study. Basic boarding facilities would help them to
study in peaceful conditions, especially when preparing for exams.
